Last time I was out there I saw the occasional rebel flag on people’s houses

I am frequently in the counties of central PA and I can confirm that it’s commonplace to see the rebel flag proudly flying. I presume it’s flying to express strong support for our 1st Amendment rights, and that’s why it pleases me to see it.
It’s like the Gadsden flag
I see quite a few around Flathead lake in Montana
And Rural Michigan especially northern Michigan
