Good evening, radu...are you recovering from your sale?
Glad you got to spend some time with your friends and finally relax after your hectic week.
Good! You need it. I hope it rained on the fires that are burning around there.
Yes, the beans need a good drink at this point. We got .1 an inch today and they need much more. Rain chances go up the next three days so maybe ......
Whoa! You woke up BEFORE the alarm went off??? Well, they say strange things do happen. LOL
We got a couple of sprinkles today. The second one was the northern edge of a severe storm that passed just south of us. Glad we missed that.
Looks like you weren’t quite as lucky last night. I hope your hubby’s car was in the garage. Some of those hail stones were large enough to leave dings.
Hey there, Kathy.
Slowly recovering from the sale. I tried to get caught up on everything around the house that was neglected the past week but didn’t accomplish nearly as much as I wanted to. There’s just no “oomph” today. It was a rough week and the ol’ body is aching head-to-toe. That kind of work is for young whipper-snappers and I haven’t been one for a looooong time. LOL
I was glad to get that second wind so I could go to the little get-together last night. And VERY glad it lasted long enough that I could drive the 12 miles back home safely.
Oddly enough, it was in the driveway and it didn’t get any dings. There was practically no wind with that storm. If there had been, all bets would have been off. I saw some as big as 1/2 dollars. The video really didn’t capture the sound of them hitting, but I hope that’s the last of them.
I noticed there wasn’t any wind and it didn’t look like there was much rain at the time. Just all that hail. Good to hear his car wasn’t damaged.
How's everyone doing this morning?
A very pleasant Good Monday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our troops at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country.
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
I wondered if the storms caused any problems. They look pretty ugly on the radar. Glad your power has come back on rather than stay out all night.
Did you and Gizmo have another good outing yesterday?
Yeah. We were relieved. A friend of ours that lives in another part of town had lots of window damage to their house. I think it was the one Friday night. The wind was really strong that night.
Guess I’d better head out. it’s later than I thought. I got caught up in a show that was pretty long. See ya tomorrow!
Dang, he dragged you ALL OVER the place, didn’t he? LOL
Bet you slept like a rock after all that exercise.
Ouch! Window damage. That must have been a doozy of a storm Fri. night. Glad it wasn’t as bad at your house. Luck has been on your side over the weekend.
Sleep well. I’m about to do the same. I’m still not fully recovered from the crazy week. Don’t have the “snap-back” of youth any more. LOL
Yes, it was great!
“It’s supposed to be 106° today. Ugh!”
And the rain here is coming down in buckets!
SUFFER! ;-)
Overcast, rain, 76* and a light, cool breeze blowing!
EAT YOUR HEART OUT, SWEETIE! ;-)
** Headed for the docks and a slow boat to China! ** ;-)
Ahhhh...I’m soooo jealous!
