Re: “Why don’t you knock off the complaints about Trump”

I'm not the guy you responded to.

However, Trump could have appointed his own U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, which is one of the most politically important Districts in the USA.

The fact that the Southern District judges voted unanimously to appoint Geoffrey Berman as the permanent U.S. Attorney should have been the instant tip off to Trump that he needed to get his own nomination for U.S. Attorney to the Senate at top speed.

Instead, more than two years later, Trump is just starting the nomination of his own choice.

That is pure negligence or pure incompetence.

President Trump was been too tardy in draining the swamp at the DOJ. Sessions had something to do with it yes, but Trump could have done a lot more to get rid of these guys long sgo.

I think there’s more to this story than meets the eye. It looks to me as if Trump and Barr deliberately picked this fight — and Berman took the bait.

Berman is refusing to leave by claiming that his “temporary” appointment by the judges in that U.S. District is effective until the U.S. Senate confirms his replacement. AG Barr announced last night that SEC chairman Jay Clayton would replace Berman ... and under Federal law he can serve in an interim capacity in this role because as SEC chair he was already confirmed by the U.S. Senate.

Berman was Trump’s guy - Trump interviewed him- and put in the spot by Sessions.

I’m so glad you would have done so much better than Trump.
Monday morning quarterbacks are so useless why bother even posting with your boring brilliant strategies ?

how about you run for city council and do that for a few years and then come back and tell us how easy it is to get things done and that’s just at the city level you won’t have Congress the Republicans the media and the whole left against you you should be able to do really well
