Jimmy Kimmel is taking a lengthy summer break from the late-night hosting gig he has had for nearly 18 years.
Kimmel announced Thursday that he will be stepping away from “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” starting July 6 and his departure will last all the way through September when he hosts The Emmys, according to a report from Variety.
The show will be taken over by a variety of guest hosts while Kimmel steps back to spend time with his family.

Kimmel is a horrible, deranged Trump hater. Kimmel left his first wife for Sarah Silverman, a very unfunny, drug-using, mentally-ill liberal (very redundant description, I know), so that tells you all you need to know about his character. It’s interesting that, at one time, Kimmel and Adam Carolla were a sort of comedy duo. Now Carolla is a common-sense conservative who appears on Fox News etc from time to time.
His show might actually become funny with guest hosts. Maybe no one will notice he’s gone.

Maybe something scandalous is about to come out.
That’s my guess. Either that or #MeToo movement is finally coming after him for his previous stunts when he degraded women. Or maybe he has some blackface in his background and somebody found it.

Nobody does this voluntarily. He’s either going to drug rehab or his ratings suck and he’s going to sit while the network decides how to re-tool the show. I hope the show dies, I hate the jerk. I wish the same thing Fallon and Colbert, too. I can’t believe anybody ever liked those morons.
