Even if he beats the shooting rap, he’s still going to spend some time in the clink for ragdolling the girl. That’s assault plain and simple. The shooting though is self defense even though he started the shit storm.
The girl assaulted him first. Try pushing your back into a police officer or security guard some day to block their movement. See what happens.
It may be more of a response than was proportional, but that kind of argument is far from "plain and simple".
Look again comrade. She was backing into him and spreading her arms out so he couldn't proceed further. When he tried to go around she moved to block him. Then she calls out to other people in the mob, who start to converge on him, he pulls his pepper spray, throws her to the ground, and tries to leave but is restrained. He gets away, probably with the aid of the pepper spray.
In subsequent video several people follow him and at least two different people shout "kill him".
Bullshit, she was aggressively impeding his movement, bumping into him and hindering his progress. You can see her shift her weight backwards to push into him. It is also discussed that she had been haranguing him earlier and multiple times doing the same thing (comments at the link in the post).
Bottom line, play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Hinder anyone’s ability to freely move and expect to be moved out of the way - action/reaction.
This used to be a free country with people able to actually analyze a situation and see the obvious outcomes.
