Surgeon General Jerome Adams on Sunday encouraged people to wear a mask to stop the spread of the coronavirus — saying the face coverings don’t infringe on Americans’ “freedom” and will help to get the economy up and running.
“Some feel face coverings infringe on their freedom of choice- but if more wear them, we’ll have MORE freedom to go out. Face coverings [leads to] less asymptomatic viral spread [leads to] more places open, and sooner!” Adams wrote on Twitter.
“Exercise and promote your freedom by choosing to wear a face covering!”
The surgeon general had originally said in February that masks are “not effective” to prevent transmission, and urged people to protect themselves by staying home when they are sick and washing their hands thoroughly with soap and water.

I wear a mask so I can do my business in this state. But it’s totally stupid. According to the Democrat Dictators there is a magic bubble that protects demonstrators and rioters from the virus but it doesn’t protect the rest of us so we need to wear masks. That’s “science,” right Dr. Faustus???

The math is in. I am personally aware of 1400 tests per day.. the asymptomatic are neg. There is no asymptomatic spread, unless you disregard the non governmental data.
WHO is recommending these people to PDJT? That Surgeon General is a joke and can’t be taken seriously. I always thought Ben Carson would’ve been better in that cabinet position.

It’s very strange. I have to admit that I flipped out last week when I went into a small shop I used to patronize and was handed a mask and told to put it on. I had actually gone in there basically to support the business, which had just reopened, and I hadn’t noticed the masks required sign on the door.
I started to put it on and suddenly I just couldn’t do it. I felt like I was suffocating and I snatched it off and threw it on the counter and left. I was a little embarrassed at myself later for making a scene, but I just couldn’t bear having that thing on, between the discomfort and the symbolic message.
Oddly enough, in my city some of the most dedicated mask wearers seem to be youngIsh white men, who glare at people not wearing masks. I’ve even seen some wearing the “industrial strength” masks with charcoal filters. It’s very weird to be surrounded by such fear and suspicion.
Right there with you! And the old ladies are becoming more like nazis every day! I had one say to me the other day, “you are risking MY life by not wearing a mask”. I’m like huh? I said to her, “if you’re so scared of the world, stay home. I will never bow to YOUR fears!”
It’s like they have the mask of protection on and feel they have the right to accost others in public! I’m done being nice. I’ve said many many choice words to these jerk offs and laugh at their stupidity. But they start it, not me.
Masks are a sign of submission. I instantly assume now that all mask wearers are democrats and cnn viewers. At least the enemy is wearing a uniform now that makes them easy to identify.
Even if they did have a good mask, a majority of the people are not wearing them correctly.
As for me, no mask, except at a pharmacy or medical office where people with compromised immune systems are likely to be.
This charade has to stop. The tyrannical governors and mayors need to be put back in their place. They were elected as servants of the people, not their ruler.
More freedom from facial recognition cameras. Otherwise, no.
