Citing a robust collection of federal and state case law, a New York State Bar Association task-force group on Thursday said it should be mandatory for all Americans to have a COVID-19 vaccination, when one is available, including those who wont want it for religious, philosophical or personal reasons.

Lawyers! New York ones at that.
I think all New York lawyers should be tested for rabies. Every week.
No...and yes, I am armed. The answer is no!
Well I plan to get it but this state group of lawyers has no authority to make federal public health policy.
A friend has already said that he will pay off his doctor cash to squirt the vaccine down the drain when in the examining room and then have the doctor claim he got his shot of Gatespoison
..not bad idea
Um... NO
Maybe I’ll get one but I suspect it will be too late. The question is what about Covid-20?
If one’s personal ratio of benefit to harm, benefit to risk, or benefit to cost is too low, then one should not forced to be vaccinated. Utilitarianism, collectivism, and altruism be damned.
The place that sent the sick to infect the nursing homes is going to force the vaccine? Please point this out to people. Faucci kills the old / sick and Gates sterilizes the young.
I want to see placebo controlled double blind randomized controlled trials first.
Not gonna do it.
They say they want it mandatory once it becomes available.
Well, maybe will consider after it has been trialed on a large study group, tested for aftereffects and conflict with other medications. Plus proven not to kill the recipient or actually give them the virus or a worse one to those that get it like the early flu annual flu shot that would give folks a raging case of the flu for weeks and killing some.
Then I might wait a bit and then consider it.
Are you willing to shoot whatever armed folks they may send to force you to get it.
I’m just curious.
Then you would be hit with some serious charges.
Or what i’m hoping is they will not think it’s worth it and move on. But this country is heading in a Gestapo direction. We need Trump to win again.
I will REFUSE to take the vaccine too. I’m hoping they will leave it at that or fine me. :)
Funny how a virus with what we now know to be not really dangerous at all to those under even 70 and healthy should be a FORCED vaccine.
I’m hoping Trump and the Supremes will have a say in this
Let the lawyers test it first on themselves.
Nazis and commies bleed too
That right there is the very definition of tyranny.
I call for the collective rejection of this mandate regardless of these lawyers' objections. Let them suck eggs.
4 Jun: Time: Melinda Gates Lays Out Her Biggest Concern for the Next Phase of the COVID-19 Pandemic
By Jamie Ducharme
Ahead of the June 4 pledge event, TIME spoke with Gates Foundation co-chair Melinda Gates about equitable solutions to COVID-19, the need for optimism in times of anxiety and what will happen to the WHO...
MELINDA GATES: ...We are seeing black men die at a disproportionate rate. We know the way out of COVID-19 will be a vaccine, and it needs to go out equitably.
The first people that need this vaccine are the 60 million health care workers around the world. They deserve to get it before anybody else. Then you start tiering.
TIME: Who needs it after health care workers?
MELINDA GATES: In the U.S., that would be black people next, quite honestly, and many other people of color. They are having disproportionate effects from COVID-19. From there, people with underlying health conditions, and then people who are older. Those are the ones who all need it first. We also need to think about essential workers who are keeping our grocery stores open for us so we can buy food, or who are making sure that food moves through the warehouses.
TIME: When do you think most people will get vaccinated?
MELINDA GATES: Were probably 18 months out from that...
TIME: Has the global health community ever faced a challenge like COVID-19?
MELINDA GATES: No. The Spanish influenza in 1918, I guess you could say. But we werent traveling on planes the way we are now.
The vaccine-creation challenge is also unprecedented, both in terms of the speed of development and the number of doses. The world has never created 7 billion doses of a vaccine in this short amount of time...
I have pictures here, where Im sitting in my office, of moms Ive met all over the developing world who have told me about the lengths they go to get their kids vaccines. They walk 15 kilometers in the heat, theyre carrying their baby on their back. These moms know the difference that vaccines make in their kids lives. When I think about them, they give me so much hope, even when I see some of the pushback on vaccines here in the United States.
The other thing that gives me hope is this next generation. Im seeing the way they talk about race. Theyre willing to stand up and listen, theyre willing to go march in the streets and say, This isnt right. That gives me a lot of hope.

Snopes tries to soften the plan but, given Gates spoke of 7 billion doses, it sounded like MANDATORY was in Melindas mind:
11 Jun: Snopes: Did Melinda Gates Say This About Black People and COVID-19 Vaccination?
A meme alleged she said Black Americans must be first in line for a vax, just behind heath care workers.
by Bethania Palma
True
She didnt say that Black people must be vaccinated after health care workers but rather suggested they should be, given known deleterious effects of the virus on people of color. Her comment came in response to a question from a Time magazine journalist who asked, Who needs [a potential COVID-19 vaccine] after health care workers? In response to the question, she said...
