Trump probably knows that the "domestic" thugs are backed in large part with foreign money (Soros? China?). That makes it a federal matter in my eyes.

I read the story, but I think you are exaggerating some with the inch of his life bit. Inch of his life would be comatose, hospitalization, intensive care, attempted murder charges. He was able to complain that his phone was stolen, so I don't think inch of his life applies here. It is better to stick to facts, rather than sensationalizing stories beyond their actual importance. Were you one of the 2-million-dead scare posters in early coronavirus days?
I hope seattle is in ashes by nightfall. Could have avoided it by listening to Trump, but didn’t. The democrats are fully responsible for all the injury and damage. Please, grant me my wish.

Yeah, Trump has got to do more than tweet. I know it’s hard because the networks won’t even carry his talks and he is being suppressed in a big way.
But he’s got to get out front and lead on this, and tweeting alone won’t do it.
We haven’t had a President since Reagan who understood the value of Teddy Roosevelt’s advice to “Speak softly, and carry a big stick.”
This was the reaction Trump wanted and expected. The exposes the left for the insurrectionist scum they are. They will be given plenty of rope before they hang themselves.
The risk is if he is perceived as weak and his threats are idle ones, and therefore loses credibility.
Trump needs to continuously attack the leftist/Democrat Mayors and Governors who are allowing this destruction. Do not let one go. Ask them publicly - WHEN they you going to solve this?

I used to think that a lot of what was directed at Obama was over the line. But what was directed at him is nothing compared to the contempt and total lack of respect people, including elected officials, throw at Trump on an almost daily basis. Those elected officials doing it are a complete embarrassment to the country.
Really can’t be compared to Southern States seceding.

Here in Michigan we are going to try to fire our so called governor... Perhaps the good people of Washington state should try to do the same....
