Oprah Winfrey has stated that America is on a tipping point following the death of George Floyd and has called for systemic change in a town hall titled Where Do We Go From Here?.
The chat show host was joined by a number of guests, including Stacey Abrams, Charles M. Blow, Keisha Lance Bottoms, Ava DuVernay, Jennifer Eberhardt, Nikole Hannah-Jones, Ibram Kendi, David Oyelowo, Rashad Robinson and Bishop William J. Barber II, and together they talked about racism in the United States and the current unrest. The first episode of the two-part programme aired on the night of Georges funeral, and was planned in response to the protests of the recent killings of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and George. Is this the moment we finally change our country? Oprah began. Where people recognise systemic racism for the problem and the evil that it is. Where do we go from here and what is it that we really want? We cant even begin before we acknowledge the hurt and the pain which weve all seen and felt as visceral. The family that is our country, I believe, cant move forward without calling out that pain.
She continued: We find our nation on a precipice, a true tipping point, I believe. And just like all of you for the past few weeks, Ive been talking and Zooming with friends, and the same question keeps popping up over and over: Is this the moment that will finally change our country, where people will recognise systemic racism for the problem and the evil that it is?
Oprah was made a billionaire by white women watching her be a racist black woman, when will whites WAKE UP from their usefulness to people like her,
Move forward to what?
What system is it that she ONLY has a billion dollars?
I wonder what the ratings of that guilt fest were last night?
She used to go to Jeremiah Wright’s “church” until she announced that it was too racist even for her.
Why do I have the feeling that this has all been a setup to announce Mooch Obama as VP?
BLAH BLAH BLAH see my Straw
How about the pain of racism directed by blacks and communists toward whites? Hmmm, Oprah? When did being black ever hold you back from anything?
Interesting....too bad the feds are investigating and following the money trail...
Orca Winfrey can shove it up her ample @$$.
It’s very simple.
Winners take responsibility for their lives.
Losers are always looking for somebody to blame.
Doesn’t matter your color.
Those who hate black people encourage them to blame, blame, blame.
She’s hardly the first... PBS is wall to wall guilt and sham minority speakers trying to defend the indefensible. There are not enough words in the English language to put THAT over!
Where is their humanitarian indignation for all the people in Chicago who are shot and murdered on a daily basis?
It will gag ya
Were whites part of the 'conversation'? Isn't that how dialogue works? Of course you don't want an honest discussion on race you want to demand and preach. So GFY
Do white people watch Oprah? How did she become a rich black woman from Mississippi? Who hired her? Does she discriminate against blacks? Whites? Hotels? Neighborhoods? Religions?
US cant move forward without calling out pain of racism
Ugh we cant escape racism being called out in fact we cannot go five minutes without someone calling out racism including that idiot NASCAR driver.
She knows what’s going on...she gave cars and stuff to some of these ungrateful people... but, she WAS one of Epsteins friends....hhhmmmm
“...the hurt and the pain...”
Pain in the ass.
The tipping point has been passed, true.
The rioters, from the time of the “’60’s, to today, have not received their earned retribution, against those whom they have attacked, destroyed, burned, shot, or killed.
Just imagine - If America Wasn't Such A Hateful, Racist Place This Overweight Bubblehead
Might Have Made A Few billion Dollars As A TV Personality.....X
