Kobe Bryant’s widow, Vanessa, is seeking to recover significant financial damages in her wrongful death lawsuit against the helicopter company and the estate of the late pilot that operated the helicopter involved in the late NBA superstar’s deadly crash in January, according to a report.

Vanessa Bryant filed suit against Island Express Helicopters Inc. and the estate of pilot Ara Zobayan in February. The lawsuit accuses the defendants of negligence that contributed to the deaths of Bryant, his teenage daughter Gianna, and seven other passengers, including a failure to check weather conditions prior to the flight and flying into foggy conditions in which the pilot was not cleared to operate an aircraft.

I guess 600 million isn’t enough. The guy was just as much responsible as that pilot. We was well versed in helicopter operations and knew the risk.

She does have a case. Though with her wealth, I’d think maybe the family of the pilot might have paid quite a price already for his error. I guess the heli co will have to fold. They can’t defend this.

If the pilot was put under pressure to fly, he still had an obligation to say No.

This damn black widow wants to put into the poor house the family of the pilot and they have nothing to do with the pilot’s error. They already paid the price for the loss of life.

I hope this bitch gets karma. Actually i didnt feel a thing that Kobe died initially because it didnt affect my daily life. There I said it.

She should accept that it was Kobe’s fault and to a lesser extent the pilot’s, and move on.

The lawsuit can’t lose, so future helicopter flights will become more expensive. And—we can’t have starving lawyers.

If the additional liability insurance cost or personal liability risk shuts down helicopter charters, maybe that will save the lives of some people who would otherwise be too careless to live.

Oh, did I say that out loud?

No she has been told her whole live that is someone gets hurt or dies.

It is some one else’s fault and some one has to pay for it.

Never ever is it the persons fault that got hurt of died.

People who would otherwise take off in lockdown fog to rush to a sportball game need to be protected from themselves.

When George Floyd’s face appeared leading off the local news tonight my wife exclaimed, “Oh God! Are they going to talk about this guy as long as they did that basketball player whose helicopter crashed in bad weather? He’s had more funerals than McCain!”

The pilots’ estate is 0 point zero that of Kobes’.

I can understand her grief, but a SERIOUS curse on the ghoul death lawyers making this happen.
