As the cries for police reform grow louder across the nation, some police departments are holding their officers accountable, firing or suspending those accused of excessive force during recent protests.
One Florida police organization has said it will re-hire those very officers accused of misconduct, and that offer is prompting outrage. On Saturday, the Brevard County chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police posted a message on Facebook addressed to the "Buffalo 57" and "Atlanta 6," saying that it was "hiring."

EXCELLENT
I think that every one of the Good Cops on the Minneapolis Police Force should take a knee. Especially those who are assigned to security details in and around City Hall.
God bless our police, deputies, state police, everyone in law enforcement. I appreciate your work and dedication.
Yeah...and come winter time, they’d probably much prefer Florida or Georgia to Buffalo....LOL
Gee, CNN, all I saw was a tweet saying they were hiring, not that they would hire them. Also, the Buffalo 57 resigned in protest to the obvious setup they were subjected to.
CNN = fake news...
there are a LOT of cop-haters and white guilt Freetards on FR. They showed up when the news broke and after it came out St. George was high on Fentanyl and 4 term convict, they disappeared as usual. But I know who they are now..
Stirring the pot. They are the true agitators.
What could possibly go wrong.
It is really good news to see that the officers who are being unfairly forced out will have a place to go. Hopefully, other departments in other locales will see the opportunity since there are probably going to be more victims of the current purges.
I presume that they will employ appropriate vetting. There are policemen who shouldn’t be policemen. They just don’t have the appropriate temperament. But this probably has less to do with the race of the person being handled than the training and temperament of the policeman. My son has observed two cases in the Phoenix area of cops behaving like bullies, and it wasn’t racially motivated behavior.
Consider that if a police force has even a small of “bullies” on the force, who will be the people who will be the brunt of this bad behavior? The people who have the most interaction with the police. Thus, minorities and low income people are going to get more of the bad handling. I imagine, with no proof, that bully cops probably see minorities and low income people as easier targets.
The Democrat run cities have not done a good job of policing the police departments. NJ State troopers have a bad reputation. Unfortunately, these same Democrats will gain cover for their bad management by going after the conservatives on the force.
After all, some people are losing their jobs just for insisting that “All Lives Matter”.
Criminals will run away from that jurisdiction and go to a more liberal jurisdiction.
AWESOME!
Good deal and they get to leave those scatholes as a bonus.LOL
Yessir
The department didn’t say that they would hire them this is some type of Fraternal Order of Police organization that the sheriff has said has no authority to do anything and basically then it was taken off their site. I’m not even sure if this is the organization that represents the deputies.
No thanks!
What could go wrong? The first one on video who is found to use excessive force on a minority, and it’s played nationwide, they will throw their azzes under the bus to save their own hides in a second.
Bet the rent.
>>>”The police had the legal authority in both cases,”
Given no one has been arrested in the killing of Breonna Taylor killing, police apparently had legal authority to shoot her in her home. Still don’t think I would hire her shooters.
I saw a twitter comment where the poster said that he thinks that antifa has infiltrated the police and that George Floyd was murdered (by them).
