Rosenstein testifies – and suddenly mainstream media say this about Russia collusion
Fox News ^ | June 08 2020 | Tim Graham | Creators Syndicate

Former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein was at the red-hot center of the Robert Mueller probe into the phantom menace of Donald Trump's collusion with the Russians. He testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee on June 3.

You may not know that happened. ABC, CBS and NBC ignored it that night. PBS gave the story 55 seconds. NPR gave it four minutes, but those minutes sounded bizarre.

Anchor Mary Louise Kelly said: "May I start with an observation? Does this seem a little out of left field? With everything going on in the country right now, senators are focused today on the Russia investigation?"

The ABC, CBS and NBC evening newscasts devoted 2,202 minutes of coverage to the Trump-Russia collusion conspiracy theory from Jan. 21, 2017, to Feb. 10, 2019. When the Senate Intelligence Committee announced on Feb. 12, 2019, that there was no collusion? There was zero coverage on ABC, CBS and NBC.

The left has the media mob (or vice-versa). Give them credit.

But, as they keep losing, they will all eventually melt into piles of goo, and will be replaced by journalists.

On the old media, anything that helps Trump is “old news” or “irrelevant” or more likely “debunked.” Anything that hurts is a “bombshell” and merits 24/7 coverage.

That’s just what we live with.

the media has to be held accountable as a non indicted conspirator. and all tax exemptions of any kind rescinded. whatever they may be.

at the very least.

Within a few days of Biden's "If you vote for Trump, you ain't black" comment, we have a rogue police killing and unprecedented nationwide demonstrations against police violence and "systemic racism."

Corporations grovel, throw millions of dollars at useless "social justice" organizations, white people kneel in the streets, and Trump is blamed. Biden's statement - resented by many blacks - is quickly forgotten and pushed out of the news. Biden dutifully kneels.

This stuff unfolds like clockwork.

I don’t have to live with it because I quit listening to it years ago.

The was a 1953 science fiction movie called Invaders from Mars. At bedtime a kid sees a flying saucer land in a pit out behind his house. His father goes to investigate and returns in a strange affectless state, denying that anything had happened. He had telltale puncture wounds behind his ear. All the other adults undergo a similar transformation. As a child I was terrified for a long time by the film. I looked at adults with frightened suspicion. Something like this is happening now. People who should be mature adults are being rapidly transformed. I am not terrified like I was when I was a child, but when I look at them I know that they too have been altered, and are probably Lost and Gone.

You’re not allowed to talk about it if it no longer serves their interests to do so.

They all knew it was false from the very beginning. All of them. Every single one.

Less than an hour ago ABC radio news announced that we had been in a recession for the last few months, “ending an expanding economy that began during the Obama administration”.

I remember seeing that movie several times over the years.

It was creepy, and well revisited by the excellent “Invasion of the Body Snatchers.”

Are we living the dream - I mean, nightmare - now?

Looks like it.
