Army labs conducting research on the coronavirus are confident that “some form” of a vaccine will be identified by the end of this year, but cautioned that large-scale access to it will take time and that much remains unknown about COVID-19.
The Army scientists are working on a vaccine candidate that is separate from four major private-sector efforts that are currently in human trials and are the focus of Operation Warp Speed, an all-of-government push for the discovery and development of a coronavirus vaccine by the end of this year.
But while the government’s goal is to achieve a vaccine “in some scale” by the end of 2020, ramping up public access will almost certainly extend into 2021, one Army scientist said on a call with reporters Tuesday.
“It is reasonable to expect that there will be some form of a vaccine that could be available at some level to a certain population by the end of the year, the first of the year,” said Col. Wendy Sammons-Jackson, director of the Military Infectious Disease Research Program at the U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command at Fort Detrick, Md.
Dr. Kayvon Modjarrad, director of emerging infectious diseases at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, said the next step in their lab’s COVID-19 vaccine development is just days away.

With all the shake downs from industry it should be called black money matters.
I’ll wait to see how many people it kills before getting it. I actually won’t ever get it - but that will be my excuse since they are very vocal about not testing it before giving it out.

I don’t take the phony flu shot, I won’t be taking any Chicom Cooties vaccine.
Unfortunately, vaccine development is a very time-consuming process. If the stars align (and they rarely do), the minimum time for vaccine development is 10 years.
Since Covid-19 is not influenza, vaccine development basically has to start from the beginning. Influenza vaccines are easy to develop, because each one is basically a tweak of a vaccine that has been in use for decades. Coronavirus vaccines have simply not been a priority. Vaccine development started for SARS but was never completed because SARS was successfully eliminated before it reached pandemic status.
So I expect to see announcements about various vaccine efforts. Some may be from companies looking to increase their stock value. Since the Army does not sell shares on the stock exchanges, the purpose of this announcement may be to entice pharmaceutical companies to partner up for continued development. The Army does not have the resources to carry a product through development to FDA approval, so needs industry partnerships to continue to develop pharmaceuticals.
Makes no difference to me. The whole covid thing was the biggest con in all of human history. It is designed to prime us for a world government.

You forgot the part that vaccines are being funded (maybe created) by Bill Gates, who’s committed to depopulating the world. What could possibly go wrong?

Jerod, many years ago I landed in the hospital with flu complications when I was young and healthy.
I get an annual flu shot.
That said, I won’t be first in line for this one.
