Do we have any active chapters in Massachusetts? Or would anyone like to start one?
Asking for a FRiend.
I don’t know of any...lived here all my life (except during my Army “career). In Eastern Massachusetts there are very, very few conservatives...ditto the Western part of the state (the “Pioneer Valley”).The last two Republicans who represented this state were from the central part...as was the last Republican Senator we had.

Hey,Laslo...does the “Sybil” in your tagline refer to Fawlty Towers? Just curious.
There were a few of us who got together during a Tea Party rally on Boston Common back in 2004 (?) It was fun while it lasted. Ive since escaped across the border to New Hampshire.
We have active chapters?
No. I have a split personality (and 3 accounts with Free Republic).
What kind of “chapters”?
While there may not be active FR “chapters”, there are indeed lots of Conservatives active in the People’s Republic - in *some* Republican Town Committees, running campaigns for candidates, ballot questions, State Committeemen/woman, etc.
There are not very many normal people/Republicans in New England, but all the more reason to start a chapter or group for Freepers Living in Far Left New England.
I lived in communist Massachusetts for about 15 years, made my escape back to freedom in 2008. I wonder theres enough unindoctrinated persons living there to even man a chapter. I certainly met none in my time living there. It was quite depressing and demoralizing.
Are you saying that in 15 years of living in Mass you did not meet a single conservative or non-indoctrinated person? That is stunning.
Wish I could help, but after living in Massachusetts for 47 years, I will be moving to Tennessee at the end of this month.
speaking of chapters, where do I find the florida chapters?

I live a little west of Concord. My town is relatively conservative, for Massachusetts, maybe 40% Republican. Before the 2016 election we drove out west along Route 62 to do some leaf-peeping, and saw almost nothing but TRUMP signs. West of I-495, outside of Springfield and college towns, Massachusetts is pretty conservative. It’s like New York State outside of the cities and New York metropolitan area.
Awesome news...welcome! Are you moving to the conservative end, or the 'other end'?
I am moving to the conservative part - a small town between Knoxville and Nashville (two hours away from each).
Im was a contract engineer. I lived in Boston, North Reading, Haverhill, Salisbury, Methuen, Tewksbury. I attended a few Catholic parishes and was married to a woman whose family on both sides were many multi-generational Massachusetts citizens. I worked at a couple of companies in multiple locations that had thousands of employees. I was ALWAYS the only Republican in any scenario. I have 2 Marxist wannabe children still living in Massachusetts, one lives in Maine...a Portland wannabe Marxist. Not stunning to those who live it. Im not an activist, so I dont join political groups.
Great area...good luck!
