You’ll on a roll.

Seriously, these are quite good.

If one of these companies barrages me with some sort of woke slogan and I get the opportunity to email the corporate site or speak back to one of their employees, I might ask them about how they feel about defunding the police. Maybe I’ll pretend to be “woke” myself and chastise them for not being woke enough for not coming out in support of defunding the police. I will then suggest a new slogan for them.

I saw a story in the entertainment section of my local newspaper that suggested movies I can watch that will help me to better understand racism. And then I received an email from Book Bub (a daily newsletter dedicated to Kindle ebook deals as well as other book topics) with more “helpful” suggestions about books I can read so that I can educate myself about racism. So I guess I have to do homework now. Will there be a quiz at the end of these books and movies? What’s the penalty for a failing grade? Some thug burns my house down?

When Omar “reimagines” public safety, what does she see? Does she see armed citizens defending themselves against the predators? No, since the private ownership of guns will be prohibited? Does she see expanded “no-go” zones like they have in Paris where anything goes? Yes, but with a twist. She sees “no-go” zones run by criminal gangs. For a price, the residents or the business owners will be protected. Those who refuse to pay or can’t will be left to their own (unarmed) devices. In essence, Omar is recreating the American version of Mogadishu.

[It’s only a matter of time before Roger Goodell shows up at an NFL press conference with gold teeth, his hair in cornrows, and about 15 pounds of fake gold chains hanging around his neck. ]

I’d pay to see that. There’s a blaxploitation comedy from the 80’s, complete with eponymous theme song, about gold fever killing random black people weighted down by too much jewelry:
