Lindsay Graham gave a dog and pony show and nobody came.

Up thread from here is an article offering up the view of George Will that the world will soon forget Donald Trump's administration if he is not reelected. The sad truth is that Will has it right. That is not to endorse his prediction that Donald Trump will not be reelected, it is merely to concede the downside consequences.

The point is that not only do we conservatives swim against a stream of media bias in journalism, we wade against the tide of reinvented history. Already, Rosenstein's incompetence, or his malevolence if you prefer, receives hardly a sideways glance as it slips away among the myths of left-wing history.

Here is what Weasel Will said about Trump in April 2016:

Trump would be the most unpopular nominee ever, unable to even come close to Mitt Romney’s insufficient support among women, minorities and young people. In losing disastrously, Trump probably would create down-ballot carnage sufficient to end even Republican control of the House.

He's very good at getting it wrong.

Sure Trump will be forgotten. Reagan has been all but forgotten. Out of sight out of mind is a well known human trait so when it happens no one should be surprised.

But what will be remembered is his accomplishments of which possibly the most important was his ripping the facade of the Democrats and exposing them to the world for the sleazy America hating filth they are along with exposing the stupendous amount of bias in the media and in doing so driving their credibility straight into the toilet.

Not really. He’s an immense historical figure. The Party of Lincoln is dying a natural death after near 200 years thanks to President Trump shining a light on the GOPe Unipaty confidence game.

The major wings of the GOP have diametrically opposed agendas on key issues like immigration and trade. Trump has shown the establishment prefers progressive Demcocrats and their policy to the wishes of GOP base voters and there is no unringing that bell. Given that, why would any Trump voters ever vote for the Party of Romney? Answer: they won’t.
