Minneapolis, and some other liberal pits where there are prevailing union wages, are going to need some infrastructure repair. One hand washes the other.

The author of this piece really doesn't get it. First, the word infrastructure has become meaningless through misuse. That is intentional. Democrats and Republicans know this. It allows them to put whatever they want into an infrastructure bill. Second, the vast majority of true infrastructure is under private, local and state government control. I do not want to pay for the mismanaged local infrastructure of where I do not live. Infrastructure is crumbling in cities because cities are run by Rats. They did not plan. They had other priorities. Those other priorities are currently burning their cities. I'll gladly pay taxes for infrastructure used to fence in those cities. But to rebuild true roads, bridges, sewers, and water mains after decades of Rat rule and mismanagement, NO.

That should be the stance of every conservative. That in itself eliminates the need for a federal infrastructure bill. It is a state and local government issue.

The "infrastructure" may well need improving, but don't let anyone tell you that doing so will improve the economy.

It's Keynesian BS.
