I have never heard of such an act of cowardice by the police.. u abandoned your own house?!
I believe they were ordered out by the mayor......
To be fair to them (as much as I don’t want to be) - a lot of modern police buildings are actually not really defensible. Lots of huge glass windows, open spaces, etc. Trying to defend such a building is a good way to get a lot of dead and wounded for no good reason.
