I think the clear difference is that FR does not pretend to be an open unbiased platform.

I hope you are right, but I could see a bunch of leftish shenanigans happening if the order is overly broad.
And free Republic clearly states it’s conservative bias, but welcomes all speech including liberal speech so we can convince them to get their heads out of their asses.
So what’s to stop Facebook & Twitter from avoiding they’re liberal if that’s the test?
