Every week the alarming truth about the Covid-19 coronavirus is becoming clearer. Some of us are much more likely to die from it than others, and the key reasons are just beginning to be unravelled by scientists.
For most fit and healthy people, the risk is small to non-existent; but for others, the possibility of dying once infected is frightening. While there have been just two deaths among children aged under 15 in the UK, there have been more than 30,000 in those aged over 60.
We now know that being overweight, with its associated problems of type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease, substantially increases the danger of not surviving the infection thought to be as a result of a weakened immune system.
If you combine this with the additional risk of age-related decline in the immune system, the danger is even greater. But now it seems there is another sinister element to the story which might explain why deaths in men outnumber those in women by two to one, why overweight people are badly affected, why some minority ethnic groups may be at higher risk of complications and possibly why smokers seem to be protected from catching the infection (and why they fare badly if they do get it).
Evidence is emerging of the role of a cell receptor called ACE2, which Covid-19 attaches to in order to infect our healthy cells. Its thought that the more of these receptors you have, the more entry points there are for the virus.

I want my cell receptors removed as soon as possible.
They’ve been saying obese people are in greater danger. So we’ll lose a little weight.
Then they’ve said men are more at risk due to testosterone we produce.
Uh, as I said we’ll lose a little weight and let’s leave it at that.
Just crap so the Dems can control what you eat and your weight or excuse to send you to a Gulag

Yeah! And who the hell had these cell receptors installed anyway....Bill Gates? ;-)
There’s catching it, confronting it, and being affected by it. Then, there’s Occam’s Razor. It’s more likely that being overweight impacts the third of those.
Fat makes everything taste better. Maybe it’s the same way for viruses.
Viruses feed on sugar.
dumdedumdum.
Maybe the Chinese re-engineered them to love the fat.
Bacteria certainly feeds on blood sugar, but viruses do not.
It is more of how much we eat. Think of it a bit differently. If people eat less, they will usually pay less for their food. With the savings there is more discretionary money. Plus they will generally feel much better not having to lug around the extra 20 or 30 lbs. Less meds to treat dm or htn or cardiac disease...lese m.d. visits...less morbidity...more activity. Win all around...the food police are just control freaks...take their sometimes good advice and tell them to buzz off.
Paging Black Agnes to the Low T courtesy phone!
As an aside, it seems that the Brit tabloids just discovered that the virus gloms onto ACE2 receptors. We on these threads have known this for at least 2 months now. Enjoy.
PING!
Low T in adult males is usually due to derangement of insulin/glucose.
ACE2 is in the testes of all adult males.
I suspect every adult male who has CV, symptomatically, will experience a decrease in circulating T and swimmer count.
Whether it’s temporary or permanent is yet to be seen.
Ping.
Theory? ACE2 is the binding site for the virus, studies going back to December have shown that.
The S protein spike of WuFlu was designed specifically for this location by Dr Zhengli, in research papers over many years, documenting gain of function testing.

Yeah, thanks.
I was going to say it too.
Don’t know why people they so many things that aren’t true.
Any thoughts why they would design the virus this way?
Women are in contact with soapy water more often than men—an advantage.
