Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Monday refused again to give an end date to New York City's lockdown despite the number of new hospitalizations lowering to 230 - less than half what they were the day the city shut down.
Cuomo's requirements are that the city have 30% of its hospital and ICU beds free and that there are enough contact tracers - 2,250.
The city will only say that it has hired 'well over 1,000' contact tracers. As of Monday, 29 percent of hospital beds were free and 29 percent of ICU beds were free.

NYC is a dead piece of ground. It will never recover and will be a empty shell as long as Trump does not bail out. And if Trump does bail out he will not be reelected and NY will go communism. California is going that way also.
I’m a licensed real estate agent in New York, and I’ve heard that the Department of State is issuing fines to any real estate agent who engages in any kind of work during lockdown.... They’re sending testers out posing as buyers and fining agents who set up appointments to show them properties..... I even heard that an agent got fined for picking up a check from an attorney’s office!..... It’s considered “illegal non essential work”.... Not only can’t we earn a living, but because we’re licensed by the State, they’re going to entrap us too!
Many NY'ers seem to defend NY so I don't expect to see much complaining. Stockholm syndrome?

Additionally, total hospitalizations are down 75% from the peak and new hospitalizations per day are down about 90% from the peak.
Cuomo is destroying the NYS economy.

Nah, a year or two from now it will be back to normal. It is the financial center of the world. The longer people work from home the less disciplined they will be and co’s will bring them back to offices.
Exactly. They want to keep the lock down going, if they could they would keep this stuff in place all the way until November, but they’ve started to realize that the people that except that and will slowly let up here in there to give the illusion that they care while still doing enough damage to hurt Trump in their minds.
