Rep. Val Demings (D., Fla.), a leading contender for Joe Biden's vice presidential pick, said Biden "shouldn't have said" his comment about black voters needing to support him over President Donald Trump.
"We know we have some serious issues that we're dealing with in this country. If we're going to be able to address them effectively, then we have to hold everybody accountable, even those that we do support," Demings said Sunday on CNN's State of the Union.

The RATS are so desperate to maintain the black vote they just cannot turn loose of the black female scenario....they know that EVERYONE knows that whomever gets selected would eventually be PRESIDENT....Biden is not going to hold up the presidency...he can’t. Democrat plan.....

I’ll wager Stacy Abrams isn’t saying a single word about this. Slow Joe’s gaffe will give her the nod for VP and the first obese black woman President when Joe croaks or gets relieved by the Cabinet as incompetent.
I’m starting to come around to the idea that it’ll be the Mooch. I know that she’s never expressed any interest in holding office and she’s an ambivalent campaigner.... but Biden has boxed himself in now that he absolutely must pick a “woman of color.” Warren doesn’t count. Harris is a cop whose own campaign never caught in with blacks. Abrams is a total joke. Who’s left? Mooch. And Barry needs a win here to avoid his own prosecution.

He’s running out of black women to hire. And Dim politics dictate the VP candidate be black.
If he passes over a bunch of “qualified” black women for a white girl, all hell will break loose.
