He loves America and means well, but is in OTJT about the difference between private business vs. economics and government.

Let’s say you’re unfortunate enough to live in New Jersey and were thrown out of work because of the virus. Most people have a month’s savings in the bank, and I bet in a high cost stage like Jersey it’s even less. From what people have posted here on Free Republic, the state’s unemployment office has utterly failed in processing the vast amount of applications for unemployment. Therefore, people are not paying their rent (much less taxes and other bills) because they’re simply out of money. Do you really think that $1,200 sent out a month or so ago would last too long given the expenses in living somewhere like that? I don’t.

As far as I’m concerned, if the Government is going to mandate that people stay home and not earn a living, it’s the Government’s responsibility to take CARE of those people.

He’s conservative in the most important issues. Immigration and abortion. I’ll support him forever. Give me a check. Most go back into the economy. Aren’t you sick of seeing your tax money going to waste. I’d say finally we get to have some. As far as national debt. This is practically interest free.

Tell me again how Trump is a Conservative.

Gorsuch and Kavanaugh, instead of two young, radical pro-aborts which would have been the case under Clinton.

There's more, but that's the big one in my opinion.

It sucks - but there is no market right now for a conservative message of fiscal austerity.

“Tell me again how Trump is a Conservative.“

Was our invasion of Iraq and our continued occupation of Iraq to this very hour, “conservative”? It has cost trillions of dollars in BORROWED money. Yet few of my “conservative” friends have raised a peep about this gargantuan deficit spending for a regime change war and occupation in a far away land they’ve never been to and will never visit in their lifetimes

Yet when Trump sends money to out of work Americans - people right here in the USA as opposed to foreigners in distant Iraq - conservatives suddenly start complaining about deficits.

That’s called a double standard, and it’s hard to take these selective deficit worriers seriously

Why don't you let the liberals who hate his guts tell you?

I didn't qualify for the last direct payment due to making too much income but I don't begrudge those who got it. They probably needed the help.

Anyway, since pretty much being forced to work at home (NY State) since mid-March, I've saved many times more than that $1,200. Enough money where I'm getting ready to purchase a new car next week with cash.

I'll do what I can to help the economy.
