It is not improving my lot in life, and that of anyone I know to throw money, weapons. private contractors, and American lives to effect outcomes, and commandeer resources across the globe.

God knows that we have enough problems without the neocons starting unnecessary trouble. We simply don’t have the right.
It would be wonderful if we just minded our own business. As if most of the world didn’t already hate us, unnecessary aggression against other nations, sure wouldn’t help.
I hate the Iranian, Afghan and Venezuelan regimes as much as anyone, but it’s up to the citizens of those respective countries to take action.
