Doctors in Northern California say they have seen more deaths from suicide than theyve seen from the coronavirus during the pandemic.
The numbers are unprecedented, Dr. Mike deBoisblanc of John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, California, told ABC 7 News about the increase of suicide deaths adding that hes seen a years worth of suicides in the last four weeks alone.

Were they wearing masks when they offed themselves?
The Dems are offing themselves on the Left Coast?
Lemmings!
Gov. Whither will soon announce:
Those Michiganders who commit suicide will be summarily executed.
“...Those Michiganders who commit suicide will be summarily executed...”
And be listed as Covid deaths.
As Trump predicted...
So sad but not everyone can handle the despair and heartache as others can. Depression does indeed kill.
I’m so sorry to read of your lost loved one to suicide. May God comfort you and her family.
I recall an old Saturday Night Live skit, cop shoots a guy smoking pot and says, well, another drug related death.
Thank you, I appreciate that very much. Guess I was just so shocked and both surprised. I never had a clue she was so depressed.
So sad to hear about this, but it’s easily predictable this would result. Anyone who was already not in a great place could easily be pushed over the edge with the combination of fears about the virus, fears about the economy, the future, not having any control in their own lives, etc.
The next wave of deaths will be slower, but larger. Deaths tied to poverty are going to rise significantly over the next few years as all those people who were just getting by in the lower and middle class find themselves in a shattered economy. This thing has been terribly mismanaged at all levels of government and far too many decent regular folks are going to pay the price for that with their lives.
There are going to be a lot more alcoholics and problem drinkers in the US before this is over.
Often even those closest to someone who commits suicide are left in total shock. Even those living with the victim may have no idea what’s about to come. So sorry to hear about this.
I bet divorces are way up as well. The repercussions from all of this will be enormous when it's all said and done.
Perhaps that is why I’ve heard it said that depression is a silent killer. And yes those closest are often unaware I too have found. I personally wasn’t real close to this woman though I’ve known here for well over 20 years and had more of a professional business type relationship with her I thought very fondly of her and her husband who were both former successful business owners who had recently sold their thriving business and were laying plans for their retirement. May she RIP.
Are liberals suffering more suicides than conservatives?
Suicide has been an increasingly significant problem across the country as the coronavirus outbreak caused stay-at-home orders that led to unemployment and stress.
This is not a simple case of TDS or fear of a bug. There are millions of people who've lost jobs, businesses, loved ones, their lives....and the municipal response has been generally "well, I know we said we had to flatten the curve and all that, but we moved the goalposts and now it's 'zero cases or vaccine' so stay in your lane." People who defy this madness get ticketed or arrested.
I know its fashionable to say it is the weak who kill themselves, but amidst this lunacy I weep for those fallen fellow citizens. The despair is undoubtedly crushing. The least we can do for our fellow Americans is open up businesses, throw off these shackles, and recognize we will lose more lives - and the soul of the nation - to despair than we will to further infection. Requiescat in pace
Very sad thing. I try not to judge those who commit suicide. Many times were talking about the mental state of someone who may have lost everything . Especially since these lockdowns are destroying lives
