A Memorial Day tradition will continue in Berks County, Pa., this year after the states governor agreed to waive one of his administrations coronavirus rules.
Because of the waiver, flag maker FlagZone of Gilbertsville was able to begin distributing an estimated 50,000 American flags to veterans organizations and volunteers throughout the county, The Reading Eagle reported.
The decision was good news for Robert Haller, senior vice commander of a Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Birdsboro although he said he planned to defy the restriction if it wasnt lifted.

It’s a sad day for the state and country that this has even become a issue.
More accurately would be: Robert Haller didn't care what the governor decided, he was going to do the right thing either way.
These commies can go jump in lake. Of fire, that is.

Just what was the ridiculous rule the Democrat governor had put in place?
Berks County is in the second tier north of the Maryland border, about halfway across the large eastern red zone.
The Gov. is a Socialist operative in PA.
Isn’t that mighty white of our master, lord, overseer, most munificent, exalted f’n bastard governor. Wolf is a piece of schiff. (Sorry, need to get my blood pressure up.) I hope that when history is written that these progressive/socialist/Marxist/commies are highlighted for their stupidity, selfishness, and quest for power all at the cost of American freedom and liberty while losing security.
People shouldn’t go to the cemetery because the grass and tombstones might have viruses on them and the virus is airborne super AIDS, even small groups ensure that everyone who walks in groups will die.
I don’t buy it.
The majority of Pennslvianians have now had it with that stupid map. Deleware County busnisses are now starting to re-open.
Not Luzerne we are stuck in red.
If the governor can waive the rule then there is no need for the rule to begin with.
