HHS Secretary Azar says people going to bars despite coronavirus pandemic is 'part of the freedom we have'

Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar said Sunday he understands that while it may be “irresponsible” for people to gather in large groups during the coronavirus pandemic, it is also “part of the freedom” Americans have as states begin to ease their social distancing guidelines.

Responding to a question on CNN’s “State of the Union” about reports of people crowding into bars in Ohio and other parts of the country, Azar said that while federal officials can offer “guidance,” it’s up to local leaders to implement it in their communities.

“I think in any individual incidence you're going to see people doing things that are irresponsible, that’s part of the freedom we have in America,” Azar said.

Good. Some people in national leadership understand the concept of freedom and personal responsibility.

There is no pandemic clause in the Constitution. All actions or lack of actions with regards to a pandemic are not Constitutionally supported. That translates into there must be debate sans emotion or propaganda narratives.

Someone needs to send Fauci a copy of the constitution. He doesn’t appear to know sh*t about the constitution.

“Good. Some people in national leadership understand the concept of freedom and personal responsibility.”

Azar also, unlike many of the creatures from the feral swamp, seems to have some knowledge of federalism: “while federal officials can offer “guidance,” it’s up to local leaders to implement it in their communities.”

NOT SO FAST!!! This story is from over 6 months ago! Just this AM, I opened my eyes and saw I left the TV on and there was Azar on early morning FOX, being shown the video clip of the aggrieved restaurant owning woman in LA, pointing out that SHE was locked down and just yards away (as she conducted an impromptu video tour) there were a half dozen enormous canopies set up for a movie company, given the green light by Garcetti to set up shop and serve apparently (catered) food. A DOUBLE if not TRIPLE slap in the face, because he could’ve been creative and knowing this was another entrepreneur that was hurting badly, suggested that the Film Co. could use HER food, at least in part, which would bring her some money. So here was Azar, who made sense six months ago, basically justifying it all, saying there was a big difference between dining outdoors and inside. Another deep state Fraud. Looks like everyone in the availabld deep state pool of “experts” has been foisted on Trump, and he can’t fire them fast enough to suit me. It’s already too late. He thought there was an advantage to playing ball with them, and found out they thought the same thing about playing ball with him, and proceeded to do what their Masters wanted. Disgusting. Look at, just lately, Barr, Chad Wolf, and this guy Azar-—utterly counterproductive RINOs. BTT
