D.C. District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan issued an unusual order Wednesday appointing a law firm partner "to present arguments in opposition to the government's motion to dismiss" the matter -- and to consider whether the court should hold Flynn in contempt for perjury.
The partner, retired federal judge John Gleeson, has openly criticized the Trump administration's handling of Michael Flynn's case, raising concerns that he was selected to improperly bolster Sullivan's efforts to keep the Flynn case alive even though both the government and defendant want it dismissed.
Sullivan has previously suggested Flynn may have committed treason, in a bizarre 2018 courtroom outburst, and seemingly confused key details about Flynn's overseas lobbying work.

What is interesting is in his call to his syncofants ohola cited perjury. Now the corrupt judge says he thinks perjury may have occurred. Kind of dog whistle or evidence the a hole former pissadent had an exparte communication with the dishonorable judge?

And run out the clock. Graham has publicly stated he’s not interested in the Flynn case until it is over. That gives Sullivan all the cover he needs to continue assaulting Flynn and POTUS.
A very public deep dive of prosectuorial and legal miscoduct against Flynn right now would no doubt move Sullivan and his Lawfare group handlers to dismiss this case. But “our side” will never do that in support of Flynn and Trump so here we are.
The judge seems to believe since Flynn filed a guilty plea and said it in court, that was perjury. Shows the extent of his knowledge. Must have gone to the “close match book cover before striking” school of law.
