WHITE OAK, Md. - Police have released body camera footage of a fatal officer-involved shooting this week in Montgomery County.
Montgomery County Police say Sgt. David Cohen shot and killed 30-year-old Finan H. Berhe on Thursday after Berhe lunged at the officer with a knife.
Police late Friday released video of the shooting, which happened Thursday evening in the 1500 block of Hadden Manor Court in White Oak:

Clearly a racist cop. The black guy running at him with the knife was scared because the cop was wearing a mask. Or maybe he was practicing the role of Mark Anthony or Brutus for the next Julius Caeser production.
Don’t bring knife to gun fight.
That’s about as clear a suicide by cop as it gets.
The victim was clearly trying to give the officer a hug and didn’t realize there was a knife in his hand. Either that or the victim felt threatened by the white cop and tried to run, just in the wrong direction. Either that or our racist white privileged culture drove the victim crazy and he was just asking for help. Or, wait, no. He was ordered to approach the officer and they replaced the audio with a fake one telling him to get on the ground. That’s probably it. Let the protests begin.

I viewed the video. Clearly, a case of a racist white man hunting docile black men.

Not when you are 40 feet away AND the guy with the gun already has it pointed at you.
That video is very instructive. Note how quick a guy with a knife can get up on you even when you have a gun in the ready position. Notice he immediately put out an assistance call and kept his distance while keeping the person in sight.
I always consider my personal safety distance at least 20 feet. Anyone inside that zone heading in my direction is a potential threat especially if they have changed direction in their path of travel to one now approaching me directly.
