Would strangling them economically be something like not buying any more cheap, poorly made, plastic, crap that, in the end, we really don't need anyway? Would it mean no more junk from Dollar General? Would it mean a return to toys for our children that are made here, of natural resources, by our own people? Would it mean clothing made here that is not sleazy and feels like one is wearing a recycled plastic bottle? Would it mean natural fibers? Would it mean women can dress again like we have some measure of self-respect?

Would it mean we, as an entire nation, stop the constant consumption as if the act of consuming itself were an addiction? My goodness, if this were true, we might actually taste real freedom again.

Thank you. I firmly believe we were sold a lie when we were conditioned to consume, consume, consume. I am sick to death of cheesy plastic crap. The massive piles of toys our kids have. Toys that our kids honestly do not need as much as they need to go outside and play, using their imaginations and getting exercise and sunshine.
