The more I read of these ridiculous restrictions, the more I realize that some of these politicians are only lacking a few good beatings of receiving a much-needed education.

only if a person has a coughing fit or sneezes...otherwise, masks decrease transmission of nothing whatsoever by 80-90%...
Particularly when some of the mask-wearers and anti-social distancers test positive for the Chinese virus. I can hear their protestations and denials now: "How is this possible?! I obeyed my politician's and 'The Experts' commands and I even followed kaehurowing's advice to wear my mask at all times and to maintain my 12-foot diameter 'safe space' from every other human being and I still have the Chinese virus! How can this be?!"
But their perspective will ultimately change as they will learn that they were, in fact, being "socially responsible" and have been "fighting the Chinese virus" all along in that by wearing their little mask which offered no real protection against transmitting the Chinese virus and by being asymptomatic as millions are they were, albeit unknowingly, contributing to the development of widespread immunity ("herd" immunity) by infecting others.
Oh yeah and my glasses kept steaming up it was the most aggravating thing ever!!
I spend a couple days a week wearing an N95 for 14 hours, employer mandate, and a cloth mask over that, my choice. Then there are my two “short” days, also masked.
It isn’t bad at all, and I’ve always got winded quickly. Getting kind of warm as summer comes along.

Yes it is, and we have commercials now constantly trying to brainwash everyone into compliance by saying things like “We’re all in this together, we must listen to the experts, and shelter inplace” and crap like that- in other words, all these commercials are telling everyone ‘obey and comply- the government is the end all be all, and must be obeyed’ and ‘You don’t know how to keep yourselves safe- trust us- we know’

Dollar stores have paint masks 6 in a pkg. for $1. That was my second try at finding a mask.....these worked as people couldn’t tell the difference.

it is otherworldly, really; I would expect a Star Trek episode to contain a ‘civilization’ that did this sort of thing...but, if it makes FR posters like kaehurowing happy, I guess it’s worth it...
I just ignore all those commercials about ‘Togetherness’.....Especially the celebrities and those in the music industry who are doing there vido gigs online in order to get their “fix’ for being seen.

You got it. But seeing everybody wearing masks subconsciously convinces you there is a real problem. I think that is the unstated purpose of mask mandates and gives the scolds you might meet up with a reason to scold you for not wearing one.

This is a coup and they’re not going to stop. I personally believe there were more players than the Chinese involved in this.
Keep drinking the Koolaid. If you believe that I have a cool bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. The typical dust mask doesn't even stop dust very well. Particles of Covid 19 virus are one tenth the size of particles found in cigarette smoke. Their only useful function is to disrupt the spray pattern when somebody sneezes. If you are not sneezing in an enclosed space with other people around they are a useless item meant only to make covidiots feel safer when going out.

I have until recently been debating these times on the local FB page, and it has not been pretty; some of these people I knew, and we will not be friends after this is over...

Unless the mask is an N 95 surgical mask, it stops nothing, all germs, bacterium and viruii pas right through in both directions.
My wife saw a guy who’s mask was knitted. Awesome way to show your disgust.
I just got one with TRUMP 2020 imprinted on it.
