Rick Grenell strikes again. If Ratcliff gets confirmed, he should immediately make Rick his #2. We can get another ambassador to Germany.
Schiff is now exposed for directly blocking the transcripts for 11 months. And Grenell said he’ll release them himself if Schiff still refuses.

President Trump nominated Representative John Ratcliffe, an intelligence community reformer, for the position of Director of National Intelligence (DNI). The SSCI previously rejected Ratcliffe because his existence is adverse to their interests. However, in response Trump installed honey badger Richard “Ric” Grenell as the acting DNI.
The SSCI hates Grennel with the ferocity of a thousand supernovas because Grenell doesn’t give a f**k about their swamp life. Better yet, Grenell smacks them around publicly on Twitter whenever the SSCI dispatch the orcs from the deep swamp intelligence apparatus. Every time orcs poke their heads out of the DC labyrinth, Grenell smacks them with a billion mega-watt sunlight hammer. They shriek and retreat to the dungeon.
The good news for the SSCI is that Grenell can only stay in the ‘acting’ role until September of this year. However, the bad news is if the SSCI rejects John Ratcliffe then Ric Grenell gets another year to antagonize the corrupt senators, swing the sunlight hammer & expose the darkest secrets of their beloved swamp. {{Grumble – Grumble}}
As a result President Trump has pinned the SSCI into the corner of their cave. If the SSCI rejects Ratcliffe, they are stuck with Grenell; and Ric really is a guy who doesn’t give a f**k about the SSCI’s indulgent self-interest and thirst for power.

Yeah, I saw that. Can you imagine Burr and Warner’s position now of needing Ratcliffe to turn down the heat. This is the way Trump should handle all vacancies that need confirmation.
Agreed! Ratcliffe may be more subtle than Grennel, but he is one of the few that has seen the unredacted FISA apps, plus other docs .... he knows where the figurative “bodies” are buried.
This situation ... Grennel or Ratcliffe .... makes me smile. Burr has said he’ll vote for Ratcliffe so they’ve picked their poison. Poke the bull, get the horns .... Trump really has the SSCI on the horns of a dilemma.
Let’s get it done. People need to go to jail.

Perhaps. But he does have the power to declassify and release other documents. As I recall he delegated that authority to Barr. Where’s the beef?
The President is the final authority on classification, even stuff classified by Congress. He has the power to make it happen.
There is enough wiggle room under the Separation of Powers doctrine to throw it to the courts, letting Schiff delay, delay, delay

Shift the news away from groping Joe to the Evil Donald, and provide a diversion away from Schiff.
The MSM enables all of this instead of going after the real stories that would be bigger than Watergate but won’t be handled the same way as its the Dem’s playing “dirty tricks”

Why wait?! Just release them. POTUS is the boss, not Schiff, and POTUS ordered the declassification and release to the public of AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.
They have been checked for classified information and cleared. RELEASE THEM!
Waiting for Schiff to act is an exercise in futility.
