A Family Dollar store security guard was fatally shot in Flint, Michigan, on Friday after telling a customer her child had to wear a face mask to enter the store, prosecutors said.
An argument began when the security guard, Calvin Munerlyn, 43, told Sharmel Lashe Teague, 45, that customers needed to wear face masks in the store, Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton said at a Monday news conference. She yelled at him, spit on him and drove off, Leyton said. About 20 minutes later, her car returned to the store and her husband and son, Larry Edward Teague, 44, and Ramonyea Travon Bishop, 23, stepped out and confronted Munerlyn, according to investigators who spoke to witnesses in the store and reviewed surveillance video. Bishop shot him, Leyton said.
Leyton said Munerlyn was doing his job, protecting others and enforcing a statewide executive order. In Michigan, people are required to wear face coverings in businesses. Stores can refuse service to anyone who isn't wearing a mask.
"We simply can't devolve into an 'us versus them' mentality," he said. "We need to make a commitment as a community to do the things necessary to allow us to stay healthy and turn a page on this crisis together. Not for ourselves but for Calvin Munerlyn, who lost his life needlessly and senselessly."
Michigan State Police arrested Sharmel Teague but are searching for the two men, Special 1st Lt. David Kaiser said.
Social media posts by friends and family memorialized Munerlyn, a father of eight children, by his nickname: "Big Duper." A GoFundMe account for the family has raised more than $22,000, exceeding its goal. Latryna Sims Munerlyn, his wife of 10 years, told NBC 25 that he worked at the store for more than a year.

The wearing of masks along with other measures by the general public undoubtedly contributed greatly to lessen the burden on the government to do tracing and testing.
As of yesterday, 250 have died from the coronavirus in Korea. By tonight or certainly tomorrow night, according to worldofmeters.info, the US will top 70,000 deaths. Same data source for both Korean numbers and US numbers.

I realize what you meant. It was more of a joke then anything else. But the statement did not apply for what occurred by the article account, so it was really irrelevant to the article as no law abiding gun owner would commit such an act in the first place. In other words it was completely out of context to what was being reported.

Since underlying conditions have an impact on death rates, I just did a quick search and found out 36.5% of US adults are obese, while only 4% of South Korean adults are obese. Coincidence?
What’s the larger story here? Take away the race angle and you have a comparison to an Auschwitz guard enforcing an immoral or illegal order. The US government ruled against the guard. So to be legally consistent, the guard was in the wrong to enforce the order. The Law is a double-edged sword, it cuts both ways.

We went to Hobby Lobby this morning and my wife approached a man, I think a manager or asst. mgr. and attempted to ask him where something was in the store. We had on the stupid masks. She must have been three or four feet from the guy and his arm suddenly shot out and he said loudly, "stay six feet!!" My wife jumped back like she was shot. Surprised the hell out of her. I told him to chill out, she wasn't going to breath on him! People are going crazy with this crap. I will not be surprised if we have to wear these stupid masks and stay six feet from everyone even when the country up again. Nothing these communist, One Worlders, socialists, A-holes are going to do will surprise me. They are in it for CONTROL!! Total control is their goal. They love this crap. They are jumping up and down over what they have accomplished. AMERICA AND THE WORLD WILL JUMP WHEN THEY SAY JUMP AND DO EVERY FREAKING THEY SAY DO!!! They have won this round.
