No fault divorce makes it too easy for people to split up.
First marriages, half divorce. Second marriages 66% fail, and third marriages, about 75% fail.
Divorce stats for gays are as bad or worse, the lifestyle is inherently based on sex whenever, with whoever, wherever.
And women initiate at least 80% of the divorces and do so because they generally benefit far more from divorce than the man, who they can quickly replace with another willing simp.
Too many folks are used to disposable goods and people. Some folks get married deliberately knowing they will file for divorce and reap a big court ordered reward, almost exclusively female. they get married for the other tovpay off their debts, pay off schooling bills, improve their standard of living, and then divorce and the court then demands they be paid to that higher standard of living.
I honestly do not know why any man gets enslaved into such a deal. if it was a business contract they wou’d never sign such a document. yet they p1ss away their personal life on a one-sided contract only enforced on them.
No-fault divorce must be eliminated. Fault divorce needs to be brought back, and must have a high level of proof. If its truly fault divorce it will be easy to confirm. Abandonment, physical, emotional, sexual. Violence, easy to prove with recording, also taking into account who the instigator of the violence is. Habitual Emotional/psychological abuse. Criminal behavior. Reckless financial behavior that one person will not stop doing. Mental illnesses, especially if they will not get help. Drug/substance abuse. Adultery. Getting married under deceptive reasons/lies/fraudulent reasons. If the person is already married and hides this.
Plenty of reasons for fault divorces, and for that to factor into the subsequent division of assets.
Prenups need to be able to be enforced and not tossed out. Right now prenups are virtually worthless and can be tossed out by a judge for any reason the judge can come up with.

Well thought and stated, Asian Man. The lack of religious upbringing and lack of respect for God's commandments also helped destroy the institution of marriage. I so looked forward to sharing life with another follower of Christ and here I am, 58 never married because the "MeToo" thing is really the dead end of "It's All About Me". But I'm good.
