I was in Europe last summer for the 1st time in many decades, and was going 100 in France, because there were so few cars and everyone else was doing same.... but even a month ago, when there was hardly any traffic on the BQE, LIE, or GCP, I was still going my standard 65-70.... New York highways too unpredictable for me

I’m more unpredictable than the highways even at 52. The highest I got on the BQE was about 125 when I was 36.

Here’s what’s really going on in NYC..... Official policy is alternate side street parking is suspended, but you still have to put money in the meters..... but anyone who’s paying attention knows that there’s no meter maids and you don’t have to put money in the meters, but some idiots are still doing it..... Same policy applies to opening up your business..... Official policy is businesses are not supposed to open....but some businesses are opening and the cops are just telling them make sure you wear a mask and your customers wear masks....blah blah blah..... So it’s so many other things in New York, the rules are being enforced, but most people are too scared or too stupid to figure it out yet.... little-by-little they’ll catch on.... My feeling is at this point there is so much anti Trump sentiment in New York that many Left wing business owners are willing to fool themselves into believing that it’s still too dangerous to open up..... And then you have a lot of non ideological business owners who are just following their lead.... But the dam is going to break soon
