Universities can simply move the money around. As it is, we probably aren't directly funding Women's Studies, but the money universities get for scientific research enables them to spend their own money (and the money they get from patents on what researchers come up with) on things that aren't taxpayer-funded.
Physician, heal thyself isn’t going to do a damn thing at these groupthink factories.
Only amputation will work. Cut off funding. Cut off departments. Cut off professors, fellows, grad assistants.

Universities need to figure out why they exist and do only that.
Universities have become money hogs, taking it from everyone, while teaching students garbage which is why those students can’t compete with those from around the world.
