I agree with what you are wrote but the thing to keep in mind is this wasn’t just an ordinary job for many of them. This is their religion. They have a strong belief that they have a god (yes not capitalized) given right to have an abortion and that socialism and environmentalism are righteous causes. Sometimes you have to make sacrifices for your rights or cause. Very rarely do they reflect and recognize that they could be wrong. They have too much invested to do so. It is their selected identity.
One thing is certain. There’s enough smoke here that Biden will have to address this.
He’s either going to have to call her a liar or step aside. GOP Congressmen will raise the issue and comparisons to Kavanaugh and/or Trump will. The Dems have laid trap to all sorts of precedent that will now come back to bite them.
How can Biden name a female VP and not have her face #MeToo questions? Shouldn’t Reade be heard?
I don’t see how they can dodge addressing this other than hiding in his basement until Election Day.

Good point. The private sector (small business) had more reason to fear lawsuits— one could bankrupt them. WRT government & Hollywood the “you’ll never work in this town again” threat was a much more powerful inhibitor.

That’s for certain. It’s a textbook case of a superior forcing a female underling to be subjected to a situation way beyond the normal workplace.

Near the end of his son Beau’s life, he died May 2015, he had his Dad promise to run for President. Biden had every intention until the Clinton’s threatened to ruin his career. The Clinton had this information about Tara Reade, probably the Larry King tape. They threatened to expose his son Hunter’s cocaine conviction, his screwing his dying brother’s wife, no doubt all of Biden’s corrupt deals over the years. Biden caved, hoping the bitch would lose and there would still be time in 2020 to run. Biden even admitted to the Clintons starting to move against him.
