I know this is a treat for most of us, but fuel prices this low isn't the best news for the economy as a whole.

exactly, I get gas that is generally .10 cheaper at BJ’s than other local gas stations and it’s been $1.69 for over a month, despite oil going down to record lows. The price never decreased in parallel to the oil price crash. Hope this isn’t the bottom of prices, I was hoping for under $1.00 prices considering the oil prices havent been this low in decades.

$2.15 this morning in Bakersfield CA..........L.A usually cheaper.

Very true, but ethanol free gasoline is >$1.00 gallon more expensive even than the ethanol blends.

Fewer drivers on the road Oklahoma lifted some restrictions last week. I could immediately see a difference in traffic. We're going to bounce back. With a vengeance.

At this rate fill-ups will soon be free. In fact they will throw in a free toaster or electric blanket for stopping by and taking 20 gallons of gasoline off their hands.

$2.47 is about what we are paying in Mountain View, CA. I figure that gasoline is about $0.25 of that price and the rest goes to Sacramento and little bit to Washington.

LOL. I remember growing up, Mom would pull into a station and tell the attendant “Give me a dollar’s worth.” I hadn’t heard that phrase in probably 50 years.
Of course, in that era, Dad would come home from work on Friday and ask Mom if she had gotten to the bank. She’d reply “Yes, I got a twenty.”

Lowest pricesvin Alaska I have seen are $1.80 at the card locks and $1.87 elsewhere.
Just bought 1500 gallons of diesel at $2.25.

Enjoy it now. Soon, producers will be shutting down, and soon after that, there will be no gasoline available at any price.
