It’s always two weeks at a time, and this is deliberate. They give you a ray of hope, two weeks, and they quash it with another two weeks. Eventually, the public gets wise to the ploy and rebels.

We’re there now. They plan to keep us down until after the election. In the next month or so the attacks on Trump will come out in the open. This is, after all, election campaign season!

I don't see it working.

No way people are going to put up with being led along with false promises of something they are never going to deliver on.

Because a lot of people bought the original suggestion that we if all just stayed home for two weeks the virus would die out. At the end, it is easy for governments to say: "Oops! Not enough of you obeyed orders. Now we need two more weeks."

The Karens eat up that kind of stuff, as it gives them a chance to scold their neighbors for longer.
