New York health officials were warned in writing that a Brooklyn nursing home where 55 patients have died of coronavirus was overwhelmed — weeks before it began topping the state’s official list of resident COVID-19 deaths, damning emails show.
Cobble Hill Health Center CEO Donny Tuchman sent a desperate email to state Health Department officials on April 9, asking if there was “a way for us to send our suspected covid patients” to the hospital built inside the Javits Convention Center or the US Naval hospital ship Comfort — the under-utilized federal medical facilities on Manhattan’s West Side.
“We don’t have the ability to cohort right now based on staffing and we really want to protect our other patients,” Tuchman wrote in a chain of the emails reviewed by The Post.

At the time Tuchman sent his plea, only 134 of the 1,000 beds at the Javits Center were full and the Comfort — which had just been reconfigured to treat up to 500 COVID-19 patients — had a mere 62 on board.
Adding insult to injury, the Navy hospital ship wound up treating just 179 patients before Gov. Cuomo on Tuesday said it was no longer needed.

So basically Cuomo and deBlasio screamed at Trump for not helping them and not taking them seriously, and then when Trump provided thousands of hospital beds and respirators they refused to allow them to be used.
This should be the story trending on twitter the last day, not Trump. This should be the head story on Drudge.

Initially, yes. But Trump authorized a change to COVID-19 patients.
It was ALL about padding the stats, for every single person put on a ventilator, the state would get 35K..that’s why, Cuomo used old people in order to make money
Tucker Carlson had a shocking disclosure on tonight that many covid 19 patients were ordered sent to NY nursing homes by NY state health dept to recover even while still testing positive and contagious. It led to subsequent deaths of many elderly residents. Cuomo was asked about it previously and said he knew nothing, but would close those nursing homes even though it was his fault.
They changed it to Covid a few days later.
It’s about the money they get for Covid. Good grief...

It’s almost as though NY “Health Officials”, Bill DeBlowhard and King Andrew WANTED an increase in deaths, a spike in statistics, and a prolonged paranoia.
