I think the President left himself open to these claims thanks to his free-wheeling, extemporaneous, imprecise language about medical matters and his real-time brainstorming in the press conference. It is not surprising that the Dems are jumping on President’s words and lampooning him. We did the same about Obama and “57 states” for 10 years.
What exactly was said?
This b*tch is making a false claim and she knows it.
This isn’t “joking” and it has lethal consquences
The media are going to irrationally hound President Trump in any way, shape or form no matter what he has to say on any subject, just like they have been doing consistently for the last several years.
So, where is the true problem here? I don’t believe the problem is this Administration or our President.
I watch every daily press conference and I cringed at that. It’s just that the scientist used the word “inject” (in its other usage: you can “inject” an idea into a conversation) and then the press twisted Trump’s response. Trump is just so hopeful about cures and solutions; he wants this to be over soon and fixed so badly. My heart breaks for Trump and our nation.
Thinking and knowing are two different things. Conservatives know stuff and mindless liberals just think stuff.

HorseSh*t
Agreed. I stand with the president 100% on everything but these press conferences are cannon fodder for the lamestream press.
I agree! My Rat friends are jumping on it like nobody’s business! Our President is brainstorming and the press takes it as if he said it!
NO WAY.
obummer did actually say '57 states'.
President Trump DID NOT SAY, "Inject lysol into your lungs".
One said something, the other axed a question, and never, suggested that injection of lysol into your lungs was a solution.
Get real with your comparisons.
I don’t mind people making fun of him for thinking that would be a possible treatment.
But the news media is lying about what he said, and those lies, like Pelosi’s lies, might actually make people think they should ingest bleach (not lysol).
I do hope that every person working this is brainstorming the crap out of it, and that at least ONE person seriously asks the question, why can’t we use alcohol or bleach on the infection”. I mean, the answer is easy, but there are always questions nobody asks, that turn out to be important, and you never know which ones they are.
One of my real-life jobs is essentially to ask the stupid questions, because 1 out of 10 times, it turns out we just didn’t THINK about something, and nobody cares about the 9 out of 10 times they have to give an obvious answer about why the idea is stupid.
TOo many people are afraid to ask questions because they are afraid to look stupid. I don’t mind, and it makes me valuable.
The President never said Lysol or bleach, but was thinking out loud for possible cures. Obama did say 57 states. That was not thinking out loud. Think.
Yeah, we want more do nothing career lawyer politicians who exhibit garden party decorum and social graces while talking in precise legalese gibberish while trying to please all. How I miss leaders who sent this country into a decades long tailspin of debt, decline and death with a smile! I’m tired of someone who has a sense of humor, is forthright, honest, and speaks from the heart.
They are lying about what he said. They are not just making fun of what he said, fool.
