So, supposing we hit the body with a tremendous — whether it’s ultraviolet or just very powerful light — and I think you said that that hasn’t been checked, but you’re going to test it. And then I said, supposing you brought the light inside the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way, and I think you said you’re going to test that too. It sounds interesting.

THE PRESIDENT: Right. And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning. Because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs. So it would be interesting to check that. So, that, you’re going to have to use medical doctors with. But it sounds — it sounds interesting to me.

He made an off the cuff statement during the presser yesterday to the effect of “is there anyway to get any of these tested disinfectant into the lungs to kill the virus”. When I heard I cringed. The man needs to learn that not everything thought in his head needs to be made public. The media just waits for these things and he keeps them well supplied.

The makers of Lysol felt compelled today to release a statement telling people to not inhale or ingest any of their products.

He was talking about Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation, a forgotten mid 20th century treatment for infectious diseases that weren’t easily treated with other medical strategies. He did phrase it awkwardly, referring to injecting ultraviolet rays into blood to kill viruses. Actually, I think that blood is run through an ultraviolet device and the irradiated blood is “injected” back into the body via a catheter.

After the Science presentation, Trump was musing about how effective disinfectant was at killing virus and whether “ something like that “ (ie a virus killer) could be injected into the body...the libs immediately misinterpreted his idea

He also mused about whether light therapy could be used to treat inside the body, which drove more TDS

Birx failed to back up his question with information that yes, there are light therapies to treat cancer blood viruses and other illnesses...or whether any studies are being done with covid
