Some of us are fortunate to have been retired with no change to our income...and we have had fewer “opportunities” to spend money during the “festivities”...spent $300 on a couple MyPillows and sheet sets and credit card is still about $400 below normal levels...my heart goes out to those who haven’t been working and also had what looks like losses to their retirement funds to add to the stress.

And three of the worst are Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania; all three are states that betrayed the dems and went for Trump in 2016.

They’re paying back the unwashed masses and teaching them to never do that again.

Well, so far so good. I hope the economy can start moving again, however, things are NEVER going to be like they were, a new normal is about to begin. China needs to pay and pay dearly for what they’ve done.

I'd have been much worse off trying to deal with something like this when I was younger. These days, I can ride out for about 6 months before I have to dig into any 'emergency' assets. That's largely a function of age and prudence. When I was 25, there was no way I could have gone 2 months without income. This lockdown hasn't really affected my income because I've been WFH for about 6 years. I have never actually been to my company's corporate offices since I was hired. Because of that, I've been helping others who aren't as lucky as I am. What I do miss is participation at a local bar in the trivia contest they had every Tuesday. I like meeting random people.
