The Hill reports Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) on Thursday night said the protests that took place in her state Wednesday demanding an end to her “stay-at-home” order could result in an extension of social distancing measures like it.
Whitmer, during an interview with MSNBC host Rachel Maddow, said that the protests are the “kind of irresponsible action that puts us in this situation where we might have to actually think about extending stay-at-home orders, which is supposedly what they are protesting.”

Protesters, led by the Michigan Conservative Coalition, stormed the Michigan capitol building Wednesday demanding an end to the stay-at-home order, which they claimed was infringing on their personal liberties.
Whitmer said she’s afraid that kind of behavior will result in a resurgence of the disease, which has hit her state particularly hard. As of Thursday evening, Michigan has reported 29,263 cases and 2,093 deaths.
“The thing that I’m concerned most about, and that I think my fellow governors are as well, is a resurgence,” Whitmer said.
“When you see a political rally — that’s what it was yesterday — a political rally where people aren’t wearing masks and they’re in close quarters and they’re touching one another, you know that that’s precisely what makes this kind of disease drag out and expose more people.”

Most Police will obey orders from their commanders The ones that don't will quickly be replaced by ones who do. The Sheriffs have declared which side they are on. The State Police and various municipal Police have also tacitly decided.

As kid born a few days before President Trump in 1946, I read history books about WWII and other times of fighting tyrants. I used to be thankful that war was over thanks to my father's generation fighting for all of us. He was a combat veteran who had a plate in his skull.
Now I see we again have to take up the gauntlet against Dem and Socialist/Communist threats within our own country in 2020.
Let's hope the good half of the American people are up to that challenge.

Sometimes, the people just have had ENOUGH. Solomon’s son thought he was gonna double down and he barely escaped with his life. Settled him down a little. Whitmer ain’t no King, but she has the same delusion working in her as Rehoboam did.

Having watched her on FOX, she has a rather unsettling look of wide-eyed delight when she talks about things like the death rate and the crashing economy. I suppose that’s just her face, but it’s not good.
She is just another PRIME EXAMPLE of why we NEVER need a female in the White House...
