Governors from seven East Coast states formed a coalition on Monday, led by New York, to develop a joint reopening plan. Three governors from the West Coast formed a similar plan. The 10 states, mostly led by Democrats, together make up 38% of the U.S. economy.
As part of Cuomo’s effort, McKinsey & Co. is producing models on testing, infections and other key data points that will underpin decisions on how and when to reopen the region’s economy, the sources said.

A “Trump-proof plan”? What is that, a plan to permanently hamstring the economy and prevent the kind of recovery that Trump brought to us in the first three years of his presidency?
Can you imagine what the economy would be like if we were still limping along in the Obama depression when the pandemic hit?
At least now, people are coming up with ways to keep the economy going. They are adapting and coming up with different business models. I think that under a DemocRAT induced recession/depression, the economy would enter free-fall.
And are they calling it a coalition so it doesn’t sound like a compact...?

Theories
1. Perhaps Covid-19 was ian attack, coordinated with China, to either remove him from office or prevent his re-election. In a National emergency, Congress looses its powers, as Trump can recess, so it’s up the the Democratic governors to do as much remaining damage as possible.
2. Quick recovery of the Economy would mean people will have multiple lawsuits against Democratic Party controlled states for civil right violations.
3. Information being released slowly now demonstrates that the last Democratic administration used multiple government agencies to illegally spy, coordinate with a hostile foreign country (Russia), and to illegally attempt to prevent implementing the policies that were the will of the people. Controlling the economy, takes the spotlight off of the facts.
4. The Democrats have picked ‘wrongly’ against Trump on so many issues and been proven to be so wrong and disastrous that they are afraid that an upcoming free and fair election will be disastrous. Controlling the news, continued ‘resistance’ against Trump is the only policy idea they can stand on.

What’s REALLY driving Cuomo and these other six governors is their mortal fear of a nightmare scenario for them: a massive flood of people and employers out of their states if they are NOT among the first states to relax their shutdown orders.

Awesome. Someone should write a news story on how many companies McKinsey has “saved”. They grew my company from $2.5B/yr all the way to $1.1B/yr in one year.
There is a joke in my industry. The best thing for your company is for your competitor to bring in McKinsey.
