Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf has directed businesses in the state to provide their employees with masks and has suggested that those who do not wear masks while shopping be denied service during the coronavirus pandemic.
Wolfs remarks and the order came during a news conference on Wednesday. In addition to businesses being required to provide face masks for employees, the order also states that businesses must stagger work schedules in an attempt to prevent large gatherings.
According to Wolf, the order, which will begin on Sunday at 8:00 p.m., will also apply to customers and will require all customers to wear masks while on premises, and deny entry to individuals not wearing masks, unless the business is providing medication, medical supplies, or food.
Those who cannot wear a face mask due to health conditions will not be required to do so and will be forced to provide medical documentation. Children under the age of two will also not be required to wear a mask.
Businesses who fail to comply with the order risk the loss of their business license, fines, and citations. According to Wolf, state agencies including the Health, Agriculture, and Labor and Industry departments, the state police, Liquor Control Board, and local officials will enforce the order.

What is that “thing” on the far left of the lineup? If anyone should wear a mask it’s her/him.
Another thought: If there’s no scientific evidence that a scarf/bandana/dish rag over the nose and mouth can stop the spread of WuFlu, can a gov’s EO requiring it be challenged in court?
"Hmmmm - no mask? Show me your papers! And, that child, I need to see zee birth certificate!"
What a little Nazi he is. Businesses are already establishing some of these guidelines ON THEIR OWN.
Imbeciles. I hope there’s a super spreader in the room.
Excellent question! Where are all the lawyers on here who are always crowing about how they actually defend our rights?
Last night Tucker Carlson spent an entire segment asking NJ Gov. Murphy to explain the scientific rationale behind his decisions.
He offered none.
None
I mean, none.
I agree. Just don’t want to be told to wear one in the great out-of-doors, where any germs I’m carrying likely dissipate before reaching anybody else, provided I’m avoiding other people, which I’m doing.
Note to any lawyers lurking: If you need someone with standing, I live in NYS and Cuomo just EO’d us with the dishrag diktat. Even better, I’m a voting-life long registered ‘Rat. Ping me.
Well, it’s not really about stopping you from getting it. It’s more about people that are contagious from spreading it. Anything that inhibits the spread of droplets carrying the virus helps. ...doesn’t have to be perfect.
I do have issue with making this an “order”. Just “urgently request” it, people will comply due to social pressure. Making it an “order” is out-of-bounds, wreaks of tyranny.
And Comrade Murphy admitted that the Bill of Rights wasn’t something he considers important.
Wolf actually “requested” that businesses deny service to unmasked patrons, and then implied there’d be hell to pay from state licensing agencies if you don’t comply. Quite weasel-y.
I have mild asthma. I put a mask on yesterday and noticed just how difficult it was to breathe.
I wear respirators on occasion when working with chemicals and heavy dust. It’s not a big deal for a while but wearing one all day is absolutely insane.
God didn’t create us to hide our faces and breathe through a filter.
Do you know the date of this picture? Curious just how flagrant the hypocrisy is.
He has gone full Third Reich!
The republican legislature is actually trying to stop and thwart this but they don’t have a super majority.
I going to use my shop respirator it’s at least p95 freak everyone out. I also have a pilot helmut with face-mask at my house that will also.
I think my shop mask in p95 in and zero out as it lets you actually breath. 3m 6001.
