Tell the Democrat Governors that Mutiny On The Bounty was one of my all time favorite movies. A good old fashioned mutiny every now and then is an exciting and invigorating thing to watch, especially when the mutineers need so much from the Captain. Too easy!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 14, 2020

God I love this man!
Waiting for the idiots out there to confuse it with “The Caine Mutiny”?
He’s keeping the Governors on their toes with that statement.
Man, couldn’t ask for anything more... well, if he fired Fauci that would be great as well.
I love him too!
In Michigan tomorrow:
Protesters to gridlock streets around Capitol to protest Whitmers stay-home order
BEST PRESIDENT EVER!!!
Funny but as Trump supporter I do have to say the constitution is clear on this, The Tenth Amendment declares, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.” In other words, states have all powers not granted to the federal government by the Constitution and that includes commerce and the states can give guidelines on opening up and not Feds-is this not the case?
He should show up at the next covid presser with a crate of strawberries
Clap the scurvy dogs in irons Captain!
Best president ever!
The Captain of the Bounty was Lieutenant Captain William Bligh(Blythe).
Bill Clinton’s name before he changed it as a teenager..
William Jefferson Blythe III
It doesnt matter. He allowed the states to make the decision on closing, if he would order the economy open and anyone died every one of those democrat governors would blame him along with the media right into the election. He watched the presser with Cuomo and the other 2 governors and he shrugged and he just tossed it right into their laps. Later he can say I was willing to take responsibility but all you guys insisted........
He's focusing on the "or to the people" part here. It may be time for a good, old-fashioned insurrection against the little tin-pot dictators.
Why is he saying that the governors can’t make decisions on reopening their states when his position up until now has been that they were in charge?
I don’t know, what you say makes sense. But there are thousands of federal mandates on states which are followed.
I am sure the Federal government can not directly compel a state to do anything, but can withhold funds in response. All states generally toe the line to any and all federal mandates with few exceptions. But I am a State’s Rights person myself and in an ideal world the states would have a lot more freedom, but honestly they don’t.
#OUAN Open up America Now!!
The Michigan governor reminds me of this sort of mutiny (from TOS Turnabout Intruder):

The leftist astroturf and media stooges have no idea what resistance really is.
