This story is getting legs. The problem, though, is that it could lead to a hot war. Then again, when does world economic collapse not lead to hot war?
Ever wonder why other than in Wusan the COVID-19 devastation has spared the rest of China’s urban areas and big population centers. No NYC/North Jersey type outbreaks. The only explanation is that the Chinese for the most part somehow , someway have developed “herd immunity”. Developing “herd immunity” for the greater part of your population is essential if you were weaponizing a virus. Scientists may have determined that repeated exposures to more benign subtypes of corona virus may have resulted in cross immunity to COVID-19. Imagine the unthinkable that the Wusan population was left vulnerable, allowed to become infected and then dispatched around the world to start a pandemic for political, economic and military purposes. If true it would be a causus belli. Therefore very much doubt that even if Trump or other Western leaders had absolute proof, they would never tell the public.
