Wow...3,000 words I’ll never read.

How about three words...”because they’re guilty”?

(is a contraction one word or two?)

Blah blah blah complete garbage blah.
Blah make something up blah blah journalism indoctrination blah.

Same reason we now have so many police officers getting fired, arrested, or thrown into jail.

Ubiquitous cameras.

People are now forced to accept the reality of things which they are biased not to believe.

There is a significant underrepresentation of women in our prisons. The gender warriors need to get right on this to achieve women’s equality.

Prison population is 93% male vs 7% female. Women most affected.

No one is forcing us to use drugs.

Maybe some on fr think drugs should be legal. There is a libertarian wing here.

So I’ll use the Doritos analogy. I believe Doritos should be legal. I really do. For a government to ban them would be blatantly wrong. But.

If they are illegal you know what I won’t buy them, eat them, possess them, or sell them.

I might vote pro Doritos and argue for them and give money to campaigns to change the laws. I might march and protest. But you won’t find me with Doritos as long as they are illegal. Really? I’d risk my freedom, my ability to work - AND THE CUSTODY AND SAFETY OF MY CHILDREN - for a Dorito? I should absolutely lose custody if I’d ever do that.

These women with their drug problems are seriously compromised and given to all sorts of anti social behaviors. They are not victims in the true sense. Yes some were badly raised and abused as were many who did not get into the “party lifestyle.” Doesn’t matter.

Fair trials, etc. , all for it.

“One group not benefiting from this political shift is women, who make up the fastest-growing population in US jails and prisons, being incarcerated at twice the rate of the male population, “

Over 90% of prisoners are male.

I am a low-end landlord in a tiny rural town. I rent refurbished double-wides. Last year I had to evict two families. Both were white, former middle class folks; one with two boys and one with two girls and a boy. The reason? Both women got involved in drugs and ended up in prison. Yes, prison. I can’t tell you how hard the judges tried to avoid sending them there. It was only after the women were arrested multiple times for theft and disorderly conduct. (Among other things.) The judges tried house arrest. They tried programs. None of this worked. These women were, at the end, totally irrational. One that I spoke with made literally no sense whatsoever. In one case the husband finally divorced and relatives (with a great sense of relief, I gathered) took custody of the girls and the boy. Although, in my opinion, it was too late as the thirteen year old girls were apparently prostituting themselves. I found this out from a neighbor who came over to tell me the horror stories about his teenage boys who were (initially) friends with the girls.

The other husband, with the two boys, was trying desperately to keep his family together. Though, it was obvious the mother was taking the adderall prescribed to one of the boys. I don’t know how that family ended up as the deputies escorted them away and I never heard from them again.

Both houses cost me thousands of dollars to repair. People on drugs do bad things. For one thing, they never throw out trash. It rots in the living room and attracts roaches and rats.

Men still make up the vast majority of prisoners in the country.

Utter feminist bullshit.

From the left’s vaulted Wikipedia:

In 2012 Sonja B. Starr from University of Michigan Law School found that “men receive 63% longer sentences on average than women do,” and “[w]omen are… twice as likely to avoid incarceration if convicted”, also based on data from US federal court cases.

Instead of studying why a group of people are locked up, be they black, latino, white, male, female, etc., try studying why those groups:

COMMIT CRIMES.
