I forgot to post that my upper respiratory infection was AFTER I had a terrible cough for over three weeks, then OK for about 5 days, then the upper respiratory presented with NO cough. Weird for someone who really never gets sick and always gets a flu shot.
“But now they are hearing the symptoms and trying to placate their brains into thinking they had COVID.”
No. A lot of people got something awful that. put them down for 3-4 weeks and would like to know what it was.
I’ve always been a big hand washer. Haven’t been sick since 2017...
but it was a doozy.
Somehow I got pneumonia in my right lung.
? Did I miss something?
“If they ALL got it, and none of them died...it wasnt COVID.”
Lots of people died but there was no COVID-19 check-off on the autopsy report.
So did mine. Had to have some kind of breathing treatment, twice, two. She is never sick.
If Microsoft has anything to do with it, probably Covid-18.2 beta
Three or four years ago I got the crud that Thanksgiving and I think I had it all the way until April and even had a CT scan because of it. And after Albuterol it seemed to clear up during the pulmonary tests which indicated I did not have a COPD. But yeah I had some nasty crud about 3 years ago maybe four... I wonder...
My husband had the same thing at the end if January. Coughing so hard non stop an could not breath. Took him to th E R. They did a flu test step and one other test all came back negative.Oxygen levels were low so they did breathing treatments. Xray showed small spot on lower part of lung which the Dr.said could be the beginning of pneumonia. Went home with zpak albuterol and something for the cough. It took about three weeks for him to get better. The dr said it was viral whatever it was.Everyone in our family caught it also.
I was sick too around Thanksgiving with something flu-like. It went around in my circle also, and though it was flu-like, nobody I knew called it that. It was just “something.” I haven’t had the flu in over a decade either.
That nasty flu ripped through So Cal too. Stanford U is doing a study as we speak of No California populations. We have 8,000 people a DAY fly in from China and many Chinese immigrants/ businesses in this state. I think it is a hypothesis worth pursuing.
While I don’t doubt these folks had some crud that far back, I think it’s intentional that these stories are increasingly being bantered about. In fact, they are being cited by Chinese media as “proof” that the virus didn’t start there.
They didn’t have Covid 19, but they sure are helping to convince the Chinese that their government was just a mere victim of American slander.
We perpetuate these stories at our own peril. Wuhan is back to their old filthy habits, and why not? Even the rank and file Americans are practically admitting (speculating) that the virus was around long before Wuhan.
My daughter is convinced that she contracted it in Gilbert AZ in November. She had been going to a Chinese restaurant several times where all of the staff and most of the clientele were Chinese.
My daughter was hospitalized twice with acute pneumonia symptoms.
We had it, too, in So Cal, and I’ve heard people on Talk Radio talking about it. End of Dec/ Jan here - really bad flu but quite odd. Dry cough that just never stopped. And we only have 200 deaths in LA County this whole WuFlu ‘epidemic’. Stanford U is studying it, so it’s not that far off.
Same here. I got sick around Thanksgiving - low grade fever, lung issues and a horrible dry hacking cough that lasted almost 3 months. My dr did a throat culture but nothing showed up.
I will call them tomorrow and see if he can check me for anything now.
Here is Los Angeles area I had a very unusual sudden cold or flu like attack in late December. I never had so much phylum located in the throat and upper respiratory area, and rest of body felt like crap. I thought it was maybe a cold but the rest of the family felt good. So I took various cold medicine to reduce fever and expel phylum. Took about two weeks and now feel great for an 88 year old man. What the hell was it?
Pretty sure I had it. Nasty respiratory symptoms that took weeks to kick.
Not possible. I was told by a MD here that it wasnt possible because the CDC hadnt said so....back in January.
